The project

BP moved its global headquarters in London from St James’s Square to a redevelopment at Canary Wharf. The building was designed to be 35% more energy efficient than an average UK office.

The challenge

We were brought in by a leading suspended ceiling and partitioning contractor. The hatches had to suit the building’s energy targets and meet building regulations for fire.

The solution

We supplied three made to measure 600 x 600mm insulated loft hatches with picture frames.
  • Insulated

    An insulated door to suit the building’s energy design.

  • 1 hour fire rated

    Meets the 1 hour fire rating the ceiling required.

  • Picture frame

    A neat picture frame border in a finished office ceiling.
