The building

London Wall Place includes residential, commercial and retail buildings. The office development is a 16 storey tower with floor plates of around 12,000 sq ft, completed to Cat A, with a triple height space on the top floor.

The challenge

Riser doors close off the shafts that carry a building’s plumbing, electrical and other services, and they form part of its fire compartmentation. We worked with an interior contractor specialising in ceilings and partitions to settle the requirements for the doors.

We supplied metal faced double leaf riser doors with beaded frames.
