This bespoke, made to measure FlipFix plasterboard access panel can be made to suit your exact requirements. Choose whether you would like Non-Fire Rated or 60mins Fire Rated, then enter the height and width required.
The plasterboard faced door sits flush with the surrounding wall or ceiling, so once decorated the panel is barely visible. The patented FlipFix device clamps the frame to the back of the boards, so the opening needs no timber battens, screws or glue.

Construction
Plasterboard faced door with a beaded frame, single door.
Frame powder coated RAL 9010, 30% gloss.
Dual purpose: suitable for plasterboard clad walls and ceilings.
Fixed with the FlipFix clamps, which suit boards from 12.5mm to 32mm thick.
Corrosion class C1: for dry indoor areas, not for outdoor use.
For inspection only. Do not climb through the panel or use it to support body weight.
Fire Rated (if selected)
The 60 minute fire rated option is tested/assessed for integrity (E) up to 600x600mm in suitable wall and ceiling applications. Fire performance depends on the supporting wall or ceiling construction and installation method; please refer to the fire test reports, fire assessment and fitting instructions in the product downloads.
Fire test standards: BS EN 1364-2: 2018 and BS EN 1634-1: 2014+A1:2018, tested from the room side (door opening towards the fire risk side).
Smoke, airtightness and acoustic performance are not rated.
Measuring Guide
How to measure
Measure the structural opening in the board: height first, then width, in millimetres.
Enter those two sizes when you order. The deduction noted in the Description tab is made for you.
For the 60 minute fire rated option, the finished panel can be no larger than 600 x 600mm.
With the door open at 90 degrees, the clear opening through the fitted panel is the panel height minus 50mm by the panel width minus 75mm.
