This bespoke, made to measure access panel can be made to suit your exact requirements. Choose whether you’d like non-fire rated or 1 hour fire rated. Picture frame or beaded frame and whatever length/width(mm) you need.
It is a metal faced door for plasterboard walls and ceilings where services need regular maintenance. The picture frame sits over the board for retrofit work, while the beaded frame is taped and jointed or skimmed in for a flush finish.

Zintec steel, 0.9mm thick door and 0.9mm thick frame.
Metal faced door.
Picture frame: 25mm wide. Beaded frame: for tape and jointing or skim-coat plastering.
Powder coated RAL 9010 30% gloss.
Non-fire rated version hung on a pin hinge system.
Not acoustic rated and not air pressure tested.
Fire Rated (if selected)
The Panel is 1 Hour Fire Rated for integrity up to 1200x600mm in a wall application tested in accordance with BS 476: Part 22: 1987 & up to 1200x600mm in a ceiling application tested in accordance with the temperature and pressure conditions of BS 476: Part 20: 1987 and utilising the principles of BS 476: Part 22: 1987 where appropriate.
Safety
Independent bracing or support may be required to take the weight of the panel.

How to measure
Enter the structural opening width and height in millimetres.
The datasheets state that the structural opening must be at least 7mm larger than the panel size (back of frame size). For example, a 600x600mm panel size requires a 607x607mm hole size.
Maximum sizes
Non-fire rated: available up to 1200x1000mm in a wall or ceiling.
1 hour fire rated: up to 1200x600mm in a wall or ceiling (see Specifications).
