    Description

    Made to measure loft hatch

Product Reference: APD.LOFT/MTM – Despatched within 3-5 working days

Please note: If above 1000 x 1000mm, hinge side must be hinged long-side.

This bespoke, made to measure loft hatch can be made to suit your exact requirements. Choose whether you’d like non-fire rated or 2 hour fire rated, smoke tested and airtight. Pick picture frame or beaded frame and specify whatever length and width (mm) you need.

It is a metal faced, insulated hatch for plasterboard ceilings where regular access to the loft space is required. The fire rated version suits ceilings that need fire, smoke and air leakage performance, and both versions are insulated to limit heat loss through the hatch.

    Measuring Guide

    Sizes

    • Non-fire rated: the maximum size is 1000 x 1200mm.
    • 2 hour fire rated, smoke tested and airtight: the size range is 300 x 450mm up to 650 x 900mm. No increase on the tested size is permitted.

    How to measure

Enter the structural opening width and height in millimetres.

The datasheets state that the structural opening must be at least 7mm larger than the panel size (back of frame size). For example, a 600x600mm panel size requires a 607x607mm hole size.

Fire rated version: with the door open at 90 degrees, the clear opening through the installed panel is the panel height minus 20mm by the panel width minus 105mm.
