Plastic Access Panels – Manufactured from 3mm thick high impact styrene plastic with U.V. stabilizers with a white textured exposed surface to allow for painting. The plastic access panel has a picture frame for retrofit and rounded safety corners on the door. Simple to install and available in five sizes.
Plastic access panels are designed to fit into any type of wall system where access is required to stopcocks, pipes etc, or simply used to fill unsightly holes, saving the need for expensive repairs. The high impact styrene plastic with U.V. stabilizers will not fade or corrode.

Please note: that on installation of the access panel, the actual size of the structural opening in the ceiling/wall needs to be 5mm larger than the overall panel size eg. Structural opening for 102 x 152 would need to be 107 x 157 (See sizes below). Non standard sizes are available upon request, please contact our sales department..

What is structural opening and how should I cut the hole for the Access Panel?
Structural opening is the size of the hole in your wall or ceiling. When cutting a hole for the Access Panel 5mm larger than the panel size. For example, when ordering a 600 x 600mm panel, cut a 605 x 605mm hole.

Do you sell Ceiling Access Panels?
All of our Access Panels are dual purpose, this means they can be used in both a wall and ceiling system. If ordering a Fire Rated Access Panel, we recommend checking the fire rating integrity in a wall and ceiling separately. (Some panels are 2hr fire rated in a wall and only 1hr fire rated in a ceiling – This should be stated clearly on the product).
What is the difference between picture frames and beaded frames?
Picture frames are 25mm frames around an Access Panel and the frame will be visible when installed therefore, you do not have to worry about how neat the hole is. The beaded frame allows you to plaster over it, so only the door is visible (and not the frame).
