    Description

WD.PF/FR90.I60.48dB is a metal faced riser door designed to fit into a structural membrane of a joint-less plasterboard wall system. It is for walls only.

The door gives 90 minutes fire integrity and 60 minutes fire insulation from both sides, together with a 48dB acoustic rating, for service risers where both fire separation and sound reduction are needed.

It is manufactured with a 25mm wide picture frame and locked with a 3 point locking system as standard (other locking options are available upon request). The panel is powder coated RAL 9010 30% gloss as standard (other RAL colours are available upon request).

    Measuring Guide

    Measuring

Measure the structural opening width and height in millimetres. The structural opening must be at least 10mm larger than the panel size (the back of frame size). For example, a 600 x 600mm panel size requires a 610 x 610mm hole size.

    Fitting Instructions for APD.WD.PF/FR90.I60.48dB

    1. Remove the door from the frame and place the frame into the set hole.
    2. Fix through the appropriate fixing holes, ensuring the frame is pushed up against the structural opening surround.
    3. Check the frame is square by measuring corner to corner.
    4. Refit the door and lock it in place; the door and frame should be flush.
    5. Apply intumescent acrylic mastic on both faces of the frame, nominally 5mm wide, sealing to the supporting construction.

Independent bracing or support may be required to take the weight of the access panel.
